Lyon Mayor Gregory Doucet wasted no time in following Bruno Bernard , President of the Lyon Metropolitan Area. In a message posted on his social media this Thursday afternoon, the Green Party mayor criticized the National Assembly's vote on the abolition of ZFEs in France .

A vote described as " revolting " by Bruno Bernard earlier in the day and which, according to Grégory Doucet, is " against health ." " Low Emission Zones were created to protect. They primarily protect those who are most exposed: children, the elderly, residents of working-class neighborhoods, " the Green Party representative believes.
The latter then denounces the " populist groups of all stripes in the National Assembly " who voted " against the health of French women and men ." A text supported in particular by many LFI deputies, such as Gabriel Amard, Abdelkader Lahmar and Idir Boumertit in the Rhône. A party, La France Insoumise, present in Grégory Doucet's municipal majority at city hall.
" Health, social justice and freedom of movement must not be opposed or exploited, " concludes the mayor of Lyon.
